RECENT WORK ON THE LINE

Over the last few weeks several RLA members have reported that recovery work has been carried out on the branch. Enquiries have been made and Network Rail management have confirmed that recent pilferage attempts have made it necessary to remove redundant cabling, insulation and some 3rd Rail. As a consequence they have sent in several gangs in to carry out this work. Neil Boosey’s photos give us an idea of what has been taking place on the harbour Branch.
